Tuxedo Jacket
Your tuxedo jacket should allow free movement of the arms, shouldn’t feel snug in the armholes, and lie smoothly across the back. The hem of the coat should reach to the curl of the fingers, when arms are held straight down at the sides, revealing a 1/2 –inch of the shirt cuff.
Tuxedo Pants
Tuxedo trousers should always be hemmed without a cuff. The perfect length pant leg breaks slightly on top of the shoe and angles a bit downward in back.
Tuxedo Shoes
Black dress socks and shoes should be worn with a black or dark-colored tuxedo. White socks and shoes should be worn with a white tuxedo.
Tuxedo Accessories
Wear a cummerbund with suspenders, but never a vest. Shirt sleeves should extend just beyond jacket sleeves (about on-half inch). Cufflinks should match studs. A boutonniere should be worn on the left lapel and tilted slightly outward.
